Stardreamer Daylilies is the garden of Carol and Dave Sarginger. Formerly Carol’s Daylily Gardens, Stardreamer Daylilies is nestled among the Blue Ridge Mountains in picturesque Ruckersville, Virginia, just north of Charlottesville. Surrounded by the beauty and history of the central Shenandoah Valley, Stardreamer Daylilies is able to grow the best of both northern hardy as well as the southern bred daylilies. Carol loves traveling to “daylily mecca” in Florida and returning with the latest cutting-edge cultivars to introduce into her hybridizing program.

Carol offers over 1000 varieties for sale. She has something for everyone’s taste and budget, from the classic, proven winners to the newest and greatest creations from herself and other hybridizers from around the country. Her own hybridizing efforts focus on producing plants with excellent garden habits as well as having big round and ruffled blooms or blooms with teeth or other exotic edges. Carol is also fascinated by double blooming cultivars. She grows a wide selection as well as devoting a sizable portion of her seedling space to doubles. Be sure to walk through the seedling beds and let Carol know what you think. For those that are not able to visit in person, Carol has selected many images of her seedlings as well as most of the cultivars growing at Stardreamer Daylilies and posted them in the photo gallery.
