For those who have ordered or worked with Carol in the past, her garden/sales operation used to be Carol's Daylily Gardens. She recently changed the name to Stardreamer Daylilies. Ordering from Stardreamer Daylilies
Things to Know Before Ordering
- All photos taken in Stardreamer Daylilies gardens located in USDA zone 6b/7a. Carol can provide information and details on how particular cultivars perform for her. Please call/email with any questions.
- If you are in the area, come by and see how your chosen plants grow in Carol's garden. Carol loves to have visitors in the garden. There are no shipping charges if you pick your plants up from the garden and usually your plants can be dug while you wait.
- Satisfaction guaranteed. We guarantee true to name, freshly dug plants straight out of the garden.
- If you are not satisifed with your order, do not plant your order. Contact Carol immediately. We want to make sure you are 100% satisfied and will do everything we can to make it so.
- Bonus daylilies given on all orders. Please send a long list of plants you would like for bonuses. We will try to select your bonus from that list, otherwise we will choose plants we feel are suitable for your bonus.
- Stardreamer Daylilies has no minumum order. We feel this is important especially for those looking for lower priced daylilies or those who are just starting the daylily affection.
- Substitutions are only made if you agree. The plant we substitute will be of equal or greater value than the plant we are substituting for.
- Orders ship via USPS Priority Mail. This is the most economical solution and have not had any problems with orders arriving in a timely manner. Postage charges are $9 for the first 3 plants, then $1 per plant over 3.
- UPS 2nd day air is available if the buyer pays the additional cost. Please contact Carol if you would rather have your order shipped this way.
Placing an Order
We are hoping to be able to start take online orders from this site soon. Until then, please call, email or mail your orders. Refer to the contact information above on how to reach us. Please follow the instructions below for how to complete our order form, calculate shipping and compute your total. Click here for a printable copy of our order form. Pay with personal checks (will be held until they clear), money orders and PayPal for now until we get our online shopping cart working. Then you'll be able to pay with credit card as well.
If you choose not to have Carol substitute for unavailable plants, please be sure to check on availability first. For security purposes, please do not email information about payments. Please call if you have any questions at all about receipt of your payment.
Please follow the instructions below to complete the order form. Feel free to contact Carol with any questions regarding your order or the availability of the plants you would like to purchase. Also please remember to note the date you would like us to ship your plants. We begin shipping orders May 15th. The latest we ship plants is October 1st. We cannot guarantee orders shipped outside of these dates.
- Open the printable order form by clicking here. You'll be able to enter all of your information directly on the form before you print it.
- Click in the "Name" field and type your name.
- Enter your address information using line 2 under the address if you need extra room. If the ship to address is different, please call us or write a note on the form before you send it in.
- Be sure to enter your phone number, area code first, in case we have questions about your order.
- Choose your payment method. If you are paying by check/money order, we cannot ship your order until the check/money order clears. If paying with PayPal, we'll ship as soon as the payment is accepted.
- Next enter the date you would like your order shipped. We ship May 15th - October 1st.
- The all important substitutions are next. If we are out of a plant you ordered, would you mind if we substitute a plant of equal or greater value? If you would prefer we not, please be sure to contact us before you place your order so that we can be sure to have your plants on hand.
- Now the fun part - enter the plants you would like to order. Plants are sold in double fan divisions unless specified otherwise. If you need additional space, feel free to write on the form or attach another copy.
- Add up all of your purchases and enter in the subtotal box.
- Next calculate your shipping. If you are ordering 3 plants or less, your shipping is a flat $9. For every plant over 3, add $1. For example, if you order 5 plants, your shipping charges would be $11 ($9 for first 3 and $2 for plants 4 and 5).
- Now just fill in your total and print the form.
- Last but not least, mail your completed form to the address above. If you would like, contact us via email or phone first to ensure availability of your plants. We'll hold your order for up to 7 days until the completed form, with payment arrives.
We'll let you know that we've received the order when we get it. We'll also follow up with any questions we might have just so we're sure that you are completely satisfied with your order from us. We would also like to take this time to let you know that we sincerely appreciate your order and will do our best to make sure we go that little bit extra to make your experience with us extraordinary!
